How do confirm our booking?
If you contact or make the booking directly with us please kindly provide us with your name under the booking, your travel date, and your booking ID.

How can I make payment for the trip?

The price for room rate does not include the transfers from Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi
We arrange transfer service to pick up/ drop-off visitor from hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter only. Pick up time is 8:00 am – 8:45 am every morning with large options including private vehicle to the shuttle limousine car and up 45 seater bus for a large group. (Please contact us directly to get your specific pick-up/drop-off time). You are recommended to have breakfast and be ready at hotel’s lobby.
Depending on hotels you will stay in Hanoi, the time may be different. But normally, the Shuttle Limousine Bus will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter around 8:00 to 08:45 AM and drop you off around 15:00 to 15:30 PM in Hanoi Old Quarter.
How far is this from Hanoi to Halong Bay and how long does it take from Hanoi to Halong bay?
It is around 200 kms from Hanoi to Hanoi and round trip is 400 kms. Thanks to new highway Hai Phong – Quang Ninh, the trip from Hanoi to Halong Bay is now cutting down to only 2.5 hours.
Break times at least 1 time each way: Why we have to stop over at the middle of the way for 1 time/ way?
Vietnamese road rules stipulate that all drivers on journeys exceeding 100 km must have at least one break to ensure motor vehicle safety, and the health of the driver.
Our driver starts working from 5 AM and should give him a short time for breakfast and refresh his health.
Time for personal needs such as toilets, breakfast, coffee or tea.
How long do we have to wait for the return trip to Hanoi?
Customer will be advised to wait at least 30 min or up to 1 hour after the trip to join the drop off service back to Hanoi basing on the traffic conditions. To save up and reduce the total cost for the trip, our company and all other travel companies must use 1 bus or 2 buses for round trip. Please be aware of this and should not claim us if you have to wait longer than usual for the transfer back Hanoi. To avoid of that you should consider to take private car.
Why we can not take the same bus for 2 ways?
We have a variety of vehicles of the same quality but will vary in size and number of seats. As mentioned above to save and reduce the total cost we have to use a car to take guests from Hanoi to Halong Bay and welcome guests the day before back Hanoi. Depending on the number of guests per specific date we will adjust the car accordingly so customers can not be sure to go both journeys with the same car. Be understanding and do not blame us for this with refund as it is unfair and unacceptable.
Why some customers claimed the drinks are expensive?
Can not compare the prices on boat with other part in Vietnam. If you buy them at stores, cafes or budget hotels, surely they will be much cheaper. But when you use them at restaurants and 5-star hotels, the price is certainly higher than many times because the investment is huge and each product imposes other costs. Especially on yachts, the costs will be much higher and especially for overhead expenses (costs can not be directly attributed to the product or service produced) of this type of business, money for building ship, taxes, fuel costs, bank charges, much higher salary for manpower etc.)
CANCELLATION POLICY
This is our cancellation policy. Please kindly read these terms and conditions carefully:
Services are cancelled by the client: In case a tour is cancelled by the client for any reason, the following fees should be paid:
-Less than 15 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
– Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates
– No-Show: Charge 100% of total rates
What if we can’t travel due to bad weather?
If the cancellation is announced by the Management Board of Halong – Lan Ha Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
Children’s policy:
Only one (01) child under 4 years old sharing room with two (02) adults is allowed for free of charge. The second child will be charged 50% fees of the adult price (No extra Bed)
Children from 4 to under 7 years of age are charged 50% of the adult price, sharing a twin/ double room with parents (No extra Bed)
Children from 7 to under 12 years will be charged 75% of the adult price, sharing a twin/ double room with parent. (No extra Bed)
Children from 12 years old will be considered adult (Full Charged).

Do we have kayak activities in Ha Long Bay with your boats?
Kayaking is a part of itinerary included in the price.
What should I bring on board?
You are recommended to bring: sunglasses, sun cream, wide brim hat, insect repellents, wet serviettes/baby wipes and/or hand sanitizer, aspirin/paracetamol, stomach troubles medicines, windbreakers just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate, swimming suites (in summer) or warm clothes (in winter) and original passport.
No dress code is imposed onboard Rosy Cruise. We advise you to take light garments in summer, sweaters and/or a jacket in winters as it can get pretty chilly, especially at night. A raincoat will be useful any time of the year.
If you intend to do kayaking, plan to have a change of clothes as you will easily get wet. As for shoes, choose what is appropriate according to the temperatures and bring along trainers or walking shoes for the excursions (visiting caves, hiking, cycling, etc.). Do not forget your bathing suit!
You are not allowed to brings any drinks on boat.
How many luggage should I bring on board?
You should bring with you ONLY the necessary ones as there is not much space on the shuttle bus. Because we will drop you at the same hotel after Halong Bay trip so you can leave your big suitcase at the hotel. If you need to go directly to Airport or train station you can bring all your entire luggage.
Can I order meals on the boat as vegetarian, Halal or special diet?
We are willing to prepare the alternative menu for your food requirement. Depending on your food request, our cook will prepare the most suitable one. Please, inform us in detail your special food request latest in the morning of the cruise date.
Where is the cruise location if we want to travel there on our own?
If you go to Halong Bay on your own, please be ready at station at F43, Tuan Chau International Marina, Halong Bay (Next to Southern Hotel in Tuan Chau) at 11:30 A.M for check-in. You can search Southern Hotel on google map. Any late arrivals will be charged 100 USD for speed boat or charge 100% of total rates for no show. Our cruise will leave the harbour around 12:00 to 12:15 at noon.
You check in your room around 13:00 & check out at 09:45 a.m.
You come back to the harbout around 12:00 at noon.
Our starting point & ending point: F43, Tuan Chau International Marina, Halong Bay (Next to Southern Hotel in Tuan Chau). You can search Southern Hotel on Google map.
Do we need to provide our ID/ Passport / Visa in advance?
It is a must to provide us with all of your local ID/ Passport/ Visa in the picture including local immigration stamp before 9.00 AM of travel date to the following email:

Is Wifi available onboard?
Free Wifi is available onboard but is subject to 4G network coverage. Please be warned that internet connection in Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay can be very difficult as the area is surrounded by large karst mountains and can easily block the signals coming from the satellites. If you want to book something, please finish when you are in Hanoi.
When is the best time to visit Ha Long Bay?
Summer is a good time to Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay, you have time to enjoy thousands of limestone islands in the Bay, swimming, kayaking and visiting fishing village under sunlight. However, summer is not the high season in Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay and it is hot too. Many foreign tourists visit Ha Long – Lan Ha Bay during fall and spring in colder weather and have a great time there.
